A short functional test to ensure all emergency lights function correctly during mains supply failure. Fire-Tech Systems offer a monthly testing service to take the pressure off of the responsible person / landlord. It is a legal requirement under the fire safety order for every owner/manager/landlord/occupier to test their emergency lights monthly.
A full 3 hour duration test is carried out for the full rated duration of the emergency lights installed.
It is a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to ensure that your Emergency Lighting is covered by a contract of maintenance and kept in full working order to ensure you remain compliant.
